This concerto was inspired by a score (now withdrawn by the composer from his catalogue) entitled Again and Again for orchestra and solo piano (2000) premiered in 2001 at the Auditorium Mozart of Aulnay-sous-Bois (France) by the Orchestre Symphonique d’Aulnay-sous-Bois, Julien Guénebaut (piano) and Jean-Sébastien Béraud (conductor).
